Keynote Speaker, Elaine Peizer

The annual Communitywide Yom Hashoah Commemoration is one of our most important and meaningful events of the year, typically welcoming hundreds of members of our local community to honor the victims of the Holocaust.

The event includes a candlelight procession, speeches from community leaders, a keynote speaker, the recitation of El Maleh Rachamim and the Mourner’s Kaddish, and musical selections with the Jewish Community Choir from Sacramento area synagogues.
