We want to hear from You!

As we reflect on a year filled with challenges and accomplishments, we look forward to the promise of a new and exciting year ahead! We are delighted to invite you to a warm and inspiring Meet and Greet with Mariela Socolovsky, the Jewish Federation’s new CEO. This gathering offers a wonderful opportunity to connect, share your thoughts, and explore the exciting future of our Federation together.

As Mariela passionately expressed in her speech at the Annual Meeting, “I hope you’ll dance with me!”—indeed, we want this to be a collaborative dance of ideas and aspirations.

During our meetings, we will explore how the Federation can continue growing, adapting, and making an even more significant impact as we seek to shape our community’s future. The CEO is committed to understanding our community’s needs, and she values your insights.

The Federation has begun working on key priorities identified by the Community Study, focusing on Education, Combating Antisemitism, supporting Seniors, and doing Jewish together. But this is only the beginning. The Federation envisions itself as a vibrant center of Jewish life, where creativity thrives, connections flourish, and every person feels welcome, regardless of their background or beliefs. Imagine lively gatherings that include meditation classes, engaging folk dance, and activities for young families—all fostering an atmosphere of joy and belonging.

These gatherings will give you a chance to share your thoughts on what the Federation is and could be for you. We want to hear your ideas on how we can:

Convene—bring all Jews together.

Engage—offer diverse ways to connect Jewishly.

Care—support our seniors and the most vulnerable in our community.

Build Bridges—collaborate with others to reduce stigma and advocate for our community and Israel.

Support—advocate for the safety and growth of Israel.

A new year is about to begin; we can build on the legacy of the Federation while creating a more vibrant, connected, and caring community. Your participation is vital, and we hope you’ll be part of this exciting journey.

We look forward to welcoming you!
