Morning Sessions: 10 - 11.30am:  July 5th, July 19th, Aug 16th, Sep 6th & Oct 4th

Evening Sessions: 6:30 - 8:00pm:  July 19th, Aug 16th, Sep 6th, Oct 4th, Oct 18th & Nov 1st

Morning and Evening Sessions are open to spouses, family members, and friends who are acting as caregivers for a loved one. The group has an emphasis on those providing care to their aging parents and provides a warm environment in which participants receive support and strategies to address the unique needs and stresses of caregiving. Facilitated by Jane Zeiger, LCSW. Space is limited. $60 for 6 sessions. Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Rd., Davis. Leisure League Senior Programs

The UCP Players are part of the UCP of Sacramento and Northern California, a nonprofit organization supporting individuals of varying abilities and differences since 1955. The Players bring enormous passion and love for music and the arts to their captivating performances, and have been mesmerizing audiences since the group's inception in 2013. Please join them for an all-inclusive sing-a-long to the classics of the 50s, 60s, and 70s. Cost: $5 includes lunch & entertainment.

Seasoned professionals John Doolittle, Gene Ford, and Tom Phillips present touching renditions of songs from the legendary Irving Berlin, Richard Rodgers, and Jerome Kern. John’s virtuosity on piano combined with Gene’s outstanding vocalizations and Tom’s plucky guitar playing makes this trio impossible to resist as they summon forth just the right notes to refresh and delight the Leisure League on a hot summer’s afternoon. Cost: $5 includes lunch & entertainment.

Shabbat Shalom Sacramento
Volunteer to make Shabbat on a Friday afternoon with Jewish residents at a local senior facility. Federation provides all the fixings - candlesticks, candles, grape juice, challah, etc. You provide companionship and a visit! 3:00-4:00pm. For more information, contact Rikki Kass at

YAD Night at the Stadium – River Cats Game at Raley Field

The mission of YAD is to provide all adults in their 20's and 30's with opportunities and on-ramps for engagement through programming, connections, and by making the Sacramento region an inclusive, meaningful and vibrant place to be Jewish.
