Caregiver Support Group

Morning Sessions: 10:00 - 11.30am

Morning and Evening Sessions are open to spouses, family members, and friends who are acting as caregivers for a loved one. The group has an emphasis on those providing care to their aging parents and provides a warm environment in which participants receive support and strategies to address the unique needs and stresses of caregiving. Facilitated by Jane Zeiger, LCSW. Space is limited. $60 for 6 sessions. Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Rd., Davis. The Annual Blumenstein Leisure League BBQ & Swim Party is Back!

The Blumenstein Home, 1642 Albatross Way, Rocklin

It's time for our annual BBQ and swim party. Or Rishon and Leisure League seniors who want to enjoy a relaxing day of conversation, a non-Kosher lunch of hot dogs and hamburgers, and perhaps a dip in the pool. As per custom, we welcome you to help in the food prep - perhaps you can bring your favorite side dish or drinks? We'll provide the hot dogs and hamburgers. Shabbat Shalom Sacramento
Volunteer to make Shabbat on a Friday afternoon with Jewish residents at a local senior facility. Federation provides all the fixings - candlesticks, candles, grape juice, challah, etc. You provide companionship and a visit! 3:00-4:00pm. For more information, contact Rikki Kass at

Come bring in the Jewish New Year PJ Library style! There will be apple-tasting, apple-inspired treats, arts and crafts and story time. All are welcome.
