Caregiver Support Group
Morning Session: February 15, March 1, April 5, April 19, May  3, and May 17, 2017. 10:00-11:30am
Evening Session: December 28, 2016 and January 18, February 1, February 15, and March 1, 2017. 6:30-8:00pm
Open to spouses, family members, and friends who are acting as caregivers for a loved one. The group has an emphasis on those providing care to their aging parents and provides a warm environment in which participants receive support and strategies to address the unique needs and stresses of caregiving. March 8, 2017. Leisure League at Temple Or Rishon. Celebrated Sacramento movie reviewer and radio personality Matias Bombal and master pianist Jim Jordan return to regale the Leisure League with songs from the 1930s-40s. This duo always delivers a memorable musical afternoon showcasing the beloved American songs and songwriters of a bygone era. 7755 Hazel Ave., Orangevale. 

March 23, 2017. Leisure League at the Albert Einstein Residence Center. “Oldies but goodies” certainly describes this group of vocalists and musicians, as well as the songs they have been  performing for audiences all over the greater Sacramento region since 1972. “You’ve got to get them back again—fast!” is a statement often expressed after another spectacular performance by this all-volunteer, “sing-along” chorus and band. 1935 Wright St., Sacramento.

February 26, 2017. "PJ in Your PJs." PJ families are invited to join us for a bedtime story read by our new Executive Director, Willie Recht. Children (and parents) are encouraged to wear their pajamas and bring their favorite stuffy or blanket. Arts and crafts plus cookies and milk follow the story. All ages welcome. Free. March 19, 2017. Sunday in the Park with PJ. Bring a picnic dinner and join PJ Library in the park for an afternoon play date. We will have a craft activity and a reading corner.
