Caregiver Support Group
Morning Sessions: 10:00am-11.30am
May 2 & 16

Morning and Evening Sessions are open to spouses, family members, and friends who are acting as caregivers for a loved one. The group has an emphasis on those providing care to their aging parents and provides a warm environment in which participants receive support and strategies to address the unique needs and stresses of caregiving. Facilitated by Jane Zeiger, LCSW. Space is limited. $60 for 6 sessions. Additional dates:  June 6 & 27 and July 11. Congregation Bet Haverim, 1715 Anderson Rd., Davis. Shabbat Shalom Sacramento

We Love Volunteers! The Jewish Federation of the Sacramento Region is looking for volunteers to help with our monthly Shabbat Shalom Sacramento Program. Once a month, we go to a senior living center and provide a small Shabbat service for the residence. We provide the materials and you provide the fellowship. PJ Library and Shalom School presents Zentangle Class with Nancy Leaderman
Shalom School STEAM Lab, 2320 Sierra Blvd, Sacramento
Enjoy a child-free evening with other PJ parents when Shalom School’s head-of-school, Nancy Leaderman, teaches the art of Zentangle: a relaxing and fun way to create repetitive and structured imagery through drawing. Wine and refreshments will be served. This class is for adults only; no childcare will be provided.

We will have a family-friendly Havdallah ceremony, with a special Havdallah-themed craft, followed by an ice cream social to celebrate the beginning of Shavuot. This event is for kids 5 and older. YAD Events

The mission of YAD is to provide all adults in their 20's and 30's with opportunities and on-ramps for engagement through programming, connections, and by making the Sacramento region an inclusive, meaningful and vibrant place to be Jewish.
