Welcome to the Community Calendar and the Weekly EVoice!
The Community Calendar is a partnership of Jewish organizations, synagogues, and agencies throughout Federation's 13-county service region. The purpose of the calendar is to maximize the effectiveness and marketing of everyone's events. Our region is jampacked with opportunities for fun, education, and community building and it is in everyone's interest to support each other's efforts. Following are some general guidelines to consider. The EVoice is dissemiated every Friday and is a list of Federation and Jewish community events submitted by synagogues and organizations. Event Planning: In order to avoid duplication, check the Community Calendar before planning programs and events. If we see double bookings of major events, we will alert both parties in the hopes that duplication can be avoided.
Posting Events: It is the responsibility of the Jewish organization, synagogue or agency to post events. You will receive confirmation of your listing within 48 hours.
Cancellation or Changes: It is the responsibility of the organization, synagogue or agency to contact Federation in order to remove a listing from the calendar or to make changes to an existing listing.
Completing the Form: You must complete the minutes and seconds in the time section. All holidays begin sundown the evening before the date noted on the calendar.
Google Calendar Features: If you are a Google calendar user, Google calendar allows you to copy events to your personal calendar. To access email or website links listed in a posting, click on "More details."
